The Wasset Universal Basic Health Insurance (UBHI) Project aims to add value to the lives of vulnerable communities. Also, this project will provoke a change in the psychological mindset of its participants, making them see waste as assets rather than just waste.

Therefore, as a waste generator subscribed to this project, you get health insurance by simply dealing with waste properly using waste collection points, aggregators, or the project's marketplace app.

Registration and Verification

• Start by registering at any waste collection point around you or creating an account on the UBHI Marketplace app.

• You must submit your legal name, a valid means of identification, and your complete account details.

• A mandatory KYC (Know Your Customer) process will be required for every subscriber to verify their identity.

Waste Collection/Aggregation

• After registering, you must collect/aggregate a particular quantity of waste every month to be eligible for the next month's insurance allocation. This waste you collect will get a value equivalent in currency and determine how much you get each month for your health insurance.

• Your waste collection activities must be detailed on the app or at your registered collection point.

Enjoying the Health Insurance

• Now that you have registered and verified your identity, you can visit any medical facility whenever you have any health issues, as you now enjoy health insurance coverage.

• Your treatment (test and medications) will be fully or partially sorted by your insurance, depending on how much insurance you get and your treatment costs.

• Remember, to continue enjoying your health insurance under the UBHI project; you must meet your specific threshold of waste every month. You only qualify for the insurance the next month when you do so.
